Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
1 cup (use 250 gm cup) Boiled Chole
1 small Onion Fine Chopped
1 tbsp Coriander Powder
1/2 tsp or as per taste Red Chili Powder
1/2 tsp Salt
a big pinch Dry Fenugreek Leaves (Sukhi Methi Patti)
1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
1 tsp (optional) Sugar
1 cup or as per taste Malai or Amul fresh cream
Cherries or Tutti Frutti
Green Chilies
1 tbsp + little more Oil

Malai Chole Recipe Malai Chole is a completely different chole recipe. You need Boiled Chole, Malai, salt....very creamy and mild in taste.

    Malai Chole is a completely different chole recipe. Unlike, regular Punjabi Chole Recipe it is very creamy and mild in taste. It is just superb and mild melting chole recipe. This is a perfect side dish for your lunch and dinner but you can serve it as a main dish also. 
                           Malai Chole is a very quick and easy recipe and also do not need too much ingredients and time to make it. 10 minutes is sufficient for it. Before this recipe I have posted may Punjabi Recipes like; Chole Bhature Recipe, Masala Chole, Jeera Rice In Pressure Cooker, Aloo Paratha, Stuffed Dahi Vada, Steamed Stuffed Dahi Vada, Rajma Recipe, Restaurant Style Matar Paneer, Punjabi Restaurant Style Baingun Bharta, Malai Kofta, Methi Matar Malai and many more.

    HEAT OIL

    In a pan, heat oil.

    FRY ONION

    Add chopped onion to it and fry till starts getting brown. You do not have to make it brown.

    ADD BOILED CHOLE

    Now, reduce the flame to low and add boiled chole to it. Mix it well.

    ADD SPICES

    Now, add salt, coriander powder, dry fenugreek leaves, red chili powder and ginger garlic paste to it. Mix well.

    COVER AND COOK

    Cover it and and cook it on the low flame for 4-5 minutes. Stir in between.

    ADD GARMA MASALA & SUGAR

    Now, after 5 minutes, add garam masala nad sugar to it and mix it.

    COVER AND SWITCH OFF THE FLAME

    Mix it and cover it. Switch off the flame and let it be like this for at least 5 minutes.

    MIX MALAI

    Now, mix malai, cherries and green chilies to it.
    * Check the temperature of chole, before adding malai to it. Chole should not hot but can be luck warm.

    TIPS

    . You can omit sugar.
    . Never add malai to hot chole it will ruin the taste.
