2 cups (90%boiled in salt water) Chole (Chick Peas)
2 sliced Onion (medium size)
3/4 cup Oil
4 to 5 tsp Coriander powder
1/4 tsp Red chili powder
1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Kashmiri mirch powder
1/2 tsp Ginger+garlic paste
1/2 cup Water
1/2 tsp Garam masala
1 Tej pata(Bay leaf)
1 Dry red chili stick

Today I am going to tell you how to make this delicious Punjabi recipe Masala Chole. You can take masala Chole with Roti, Tanduri Roti, Bhature, Naan and Jeera Rice also. Masal Chole Recipe is completely different from Punjabi Chole Recipe. I did not used here tomato, dry mango powder or tamarind water to give it sour taste.It is super spicy and exotic recipe.      CHOLE RECIPE 

    Today, I am going to tell you, how to make this delicious Punjabi recipe Masala Chole. You can take masala Chole with Roti, Tanduri Roti, Bhature, Naan and Jeera Rice also. Masal Chole Recipe is completely different from Punjabi Chole Recipe. I did not used here tomato, dry mango powder or tamarind water to give it sour taste.It is super spicy and exotic recipe.     HEAT OIL AND ADD BAY LEAF, RED CHILI STICK

    Add oil in a pan and heat it. Now, add bay leaf to it.

    ADD ONION AND MAKE BROWN

    Add onion and fry it on the high flame, till it becomes golden brown.

    MIX SPICES

    In a bowl, mix coriander powder, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt, ginger+garlic paste, kashmiri mirch powder and 1/2 cup of water.

    ADD THE MIXTURE TO FRIED ONION

    Reduce the flame to low, Add the mixture to the fried onion. Mix it properly.

    FRY TILL RELEASE OIL

    Mix it, cover it and fry it on low flame until it releases oil.

    TRANSFER FRIED SPICES TO PRESSURE COOKER

    Now transfer it in a pressure cooker,add boiled chole, 2 cups water(remaining water of boiled chole) and garam masala to it.

    COOK IT

    After 1 whistle reduce the flame to low and cook for another 10 minutes.

    TIPS

    Always fry spices on low flame with covering it.

    • Make this recipe in mustard oil

    • For beast taste add salted water in which you have boiled chole.
