Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
3 cups Boiled Corn
1 medium size (Chopped) Onion
1 medium size (Chopped) Tomato
1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Coriander Powder (Dhaniya Powder)
1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder (Haldi Powder)
1/4 tsp Red Chili Powder (Lal Mirch Powder)
1/4 tsp Garam Masala
1/2 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste
1 to 2 (Chopped) Green Chili
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
a big pinch Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
1/2 cup Chopped Coriander Leaves (Dhaniya Patti)
3 tbsp Oil

Masala Corn Recipe | Spicy Corn Recipe | Snacks Recipe 

Masala Corn is a very popular Indian snacks recipe. It is usually made with boiled corn and some exotic spices. It is very exotic in taste and healthy for our body. It tastes great, when served hot with a little sprinkle of lemon juice. Different people make it in different way but it always tastes great.
               Unlike, regular Masala Corn Recipe, I have given an Indian touch to my recipe. I have used here regular Indian spices like; coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin seeds, garam masala and salt. I have also used here tomato, lemon juice and coriander leaves to give it a tangy and refreshing taste. The best part of the recipe is that, you need only 10 minutes to make it. Not more then that. 
                      If you will look upon the health benefits of the recipe, you will find it just perfect to your family, specially for kids. Corn has antioxidant properties, which makes it, must to eat food. It has Protein, Fat, Vitamin B6 and many other nutrition facts, which makes corn healthy.

Done

GRIND BOILED CORN (Optional)

At first add boiled corn to blender and blend it roughly.

HEAT OIL

In a pan, heat oil.

ADD CUMIN SEEDS

Add cumin seeds and let it crack.

ADD ONION

Add chopped onion and stir. Fry it on the high flame.

MAKE IT GOLDEN BROWN.

Fry it on the high flame till it starts getting brown.

ADD TOMATO AND SPICES

Now, reduce the flame to low and add chopped tomato, green chilies, salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder and ginger garlic paste. Do not add garm masala.

MIX AND COOK

Mix well and cook it on the medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes. Do not cover it.

DO NOT MASH TOMATO

While, frying the spices and tomato, do not mash tomato.

ADD CORN

Add corn to the fried spices.

FRY

Mix well and fry it on the medium flame for 2 minutes.

ADD GARMA MASALA AND LEMON JUICE

Now, add garam masala and lemon juice to it.

MIX

Mix all well and then switch of the flame.

GARNISH

Garnish with coriander leaves. Yours Masala Corn is ready to serve. Serve it immediately.

TIPS

You can add some butter to it.
