For Lassi
1 cup (use 250 gram cup to measure) Curd (Not too much thick) not too much liquid)
1 cup (use 250 gm cup to measure) Cream or Malai
1/2 cup (use 250 gm cup to measure) Sugar
1/4 tsp Saffron
1/2 tsp Rose Water
1/2 tsp Kewra Jal
Decoration
Dry Fruits
Dry Rose Petals
cardamom Powder

                                               "Wo Makhaniya Lassi hi kya jo Makhan ki tarah Munh mai na Ghule"
     Absolutely correct. This lassi will melt in your mouth like makha or butter. Makhaniya Lassi is a very popular Marwa Recipe. Jodhpur is the origin of this super delicious lassi recipe.   It is very rich, creamy and velvety in taste. You will feel lots of flavours in this lassi, but you will never recognize the exact flavour of it. 
                                   For the first time, I enjoyed Makhaniya Lassi at Jodhpur, when I went there for shopping. I was feeling very tired and wanted to drink something sweet and chilled.  My husband and me move toward a restaurant over there and enjoyed it. The taste was incredible. So creamy and mouth melting. Just no words to explain the flavour of lassi, because there were lots of flavour in it and I was unable to recognize the exact flavour of it. This was the day, when I decided to make it. I asked the recipe from local people of Jodhpur and they provided me the recipe of it. 
               Rajasthani makhaniya lassi is  completely different from any other Lassi. We use different ingredients also to make it. Lets move toward the recipe.

    ADD ALL

    In a mixer jar add all the ingredients of lassi.

    BLEND

    Blend it for 2 to 3 minute as you do for making lassi.

    POUR

    Pour lassi into the serving glass and keep it inside the freeze for at least 2 hours. Take out lassi only when you want to serve it. At serving time decorate it with rose petals, cardamom powder and dry fruits.

    TIPS

    . You can add Kewra essence and Rose Essence instead of kewra jal and rose water.
    . Never use watery curd.
    . Adjust the sugar as per your taste.
