Ingredients

Adjust Servings:
6 Rusk Biscuits
1 tbsp or as per your taste Sugar Powder
2 tbsp Milk Powder
1/2 cup (us 100 gm cup to measure) Chilled Cream From Fresh Milk
1 cup (use 100 gm cup) Chilled Full Cream Milk
Saffron
Dry Fruits
a big pich Cardamom Powder
a few drops Rose Water
a few drops Kewra Water (optional)

    Shahi Tukda Recipe or Double Ka Meetha is a very popular Hydrabadi Recipe. Where deep fried breads or double roti is deep fried in oil or ghee and finally dipped in flavored rabri. This s dessert is an innumerable part of Hydrabadi weddings and any other parties. You just take a round of Hydarabad streets, you will find thousands of Double Ka Meetha sweet shops over there. 
                                               I have given a  beautiful twist to traditional Shahi Tukda Dessert, to make it quick and more healthy. 🙂 🙂 I have omitted deep frying process and made it very simple to. I haven't used fire anymore to cook it. The best part is that, It is a tasty as regular shahi tukra, which are being served in Hydrabad from Nizam Times.

    SOAK SAFFRON

    In a normal water soak saffron. Mix it with finger and keep it aside.

    MIX

    In a bow, mix milk, rose water and kewra water.

    SOAK BISCUITS

    Wrap each biscuit in the flavored milk, which you have just made. Place each wrapped biscuit in the serving plate.

    MIX ALL

    In the left over milk, add cream, sugar powder and milk powder. Mix it to make it smooth thick. Break all lumps.

    POUR

    Pour this rabri to biscuits.

    GARNISH

    Garnish it with dry fruits, saffron and cardamom powder. Yours Shahi Tukda is ready to serve.

    TIPS

    . You can increase or decrease the amount of sugar powder.
    . You can increase the amount of milk powder also.
